Bideford Library is housed in the historic Bideford Arts Centre, built in 1896. The library opened here in July 2023, after an extensive refurbishment, and offers a full range of library services for adults and children in a bright and airy space with views across the River Torridge.

Bideford Library has the addition of The Juniper Room on the 1st floor, which holds the Pearse-Chope Collection, and is available for hire during library hours.
